BHS Eastern Region Training Bursaries 2015

24 Apr 2015

The British Horse Society in the Eastern Region is delighted to announce a bursary scheme for committed and enthusiastic riders at all levels within the region. Bursaries of £200 will be awarded to successful applicants in five different categories – professional, student, competitor, amateur and rider – the latter for those without their own horse.

Regional Development Officer, Janet Pamment, said: “This bursary scheme is to promote the BHS’s educational remit. Our registered instructors offer first class teaching and we want to encourage riders at all levels to take advantage of their skills and expertise. The bursaries will be awarded to the candidates who convince us that they are committed to developing their equestrian skills and knowledge.

“Regional Chairman, Ann Kennedy, commented: “We are particularly pleased to be offering a bursary to a rider (or even to someone who wants to learn to ride) who is not a horse-owner, encouraging participation in this wonderful sport. But we have designed our bursary scheme with the whole gamut of riders in mind – I would encourage all BHS members and British Riding Club members to consider applying.”

Please Note: The Region comprises Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.
