Witham Valley Access Project

The Witham Valley Access Project (WVAP) is a local project set up by residents in the Cherry Willingham and Carlton Estate area East of Lincoln with the aim of developing a network of paths in the area. 

One of the chief objectives is to build on the existing amenities of the Viking Way and the Water Rail Way by opening them up to a wider audience. 

At the moment, the WVAP’s priorities include access to the River Witham, the Viking Way and the Water Rail Way for walkers, cyclists and horse riders in the Cherry Willingham area.

The WVAP would like local riders to contact them so that they can establish that there is a need for more bridleways.
