On Sun 07 May, BHS Nottinghamshire ran a pleasure ride at Wellow Equestrian Centre, Nottinghamshire. There were 21 riders in total who made the most of the wonderful weather and the great farm ride with no road work at Wellow.
Everyone had a great time and came back smiling. Riders and volunteers alike made the most of the refreshments provided by Wellow including the most fabulous cake that went down a real treat. Everyone that took part received a Ride Out rosette and a hi-viz vest to take away with them.
We raised just over £150 for the Paths for Communities fund and I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone that took part, to Wellow EC for being fabulous hosts and to the small group of volunteers that I know I can always trust and turn to for their help at our events.
A few people even managed to sneak off to the local pub for a well-earned drink and a Sunday dinner at the end of the day!
