Temporary Closure of Footpath in Hucknall

THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (HUCKNALL FOOTPATH NO.16) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION) CONTINUATION ORDER 2016

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Secretary of State Transport in pursuance of the powers conferred by Sections 14 and 15 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 approves of The Nottinghamshire County Council (HUCKNALL FOOTPATH NO.16) Temporary Prohibition Order 2016 (which came into force on 09 May 2016 and continues in force until 08 November 2016 inclusive) being extended and continuing in force until 08 May 2017 or until completion of the relevant works, whichever is the sooner.

The Order has the following effect:-
No person shall:-
(a) proceed on foot,
in the following length of Footpath at Hucknall in the District of Ashfield:- Hucknall Footpath No.16 between grid reference points SK 5346 4751 and SK 5317 4756, a distance of 300 metres.

AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction there is no alternative public route. If the works are not completed within the above period the Order may be extended for a longer period with the further approval of the Secretary of State for Transport. The prohibition is required to enable works to be carried out and in respect of the likelihood of danger to the public and damage to the footpath.
