Grant a Horse's Wish This Christmas
We work tirelessly, 365 days a year, to protect and improve the lives of horses and ponies in the UK. In any year, our Welfare Officers can respond to 2,000 cases, and winter is our busiest period.
While money provides relief in the short term, it is only by educating people that we can safeguard the future of our equine friends. Knowledge is key, and the more donations we receive, the more our teams can go out and advise people how to look after their horses better.
However, our charity doesn't just deal with rescue work. We also have 200 Access and Bridleways Officers campaigning to save and maintain local access routes.
Our safety work is also a top prioity. Whether it's lobbying government, collecting data, or offering advice and education, the BHS improves the safety of 3.5 million regular riders and nearly one million horses in the UK. This is why we're asking for help this Christmas. No matter how much you can afford, every penny enables us to continue our work.
