On the 26 May at Squirrells Riding School and the 15 June at Mount Mascal Stables the BHS North & West Kent Volunteer committee hosted two very successful horse MOT days.
In total over fifty horses were examined by a variety experts who kindly gave their time for free.
Isabel Harker Nutritionist from Spillers weighed all the horses and gave nutritional advice.
Qualified saddlers Margaret Newing from West Kent Saddles and Elleanor Halley from SaddleWorld checked and advised on tack.
Gill Maybury, a fully qualified McTimoney animal practitioner and Martine Webber, a fully qualified Bowen Therapist assessed the horses' body alignment and advised accordingly.
Nat Heal, DEFRA and RCVS Approved Level 2 Qualified Dentist checked the condition of the horses' teeth and mouths.
A very big thank you to these professionals who helped make the day such a success and the venues and staff at both Squirrells Riding School and Mount Mascal Stables.
