The British Horse Society is the nation’s leading equine charity with a passion for horses that is backed by knowledge and expertise. The BHS represents and provides a range of services for horse riders, horse owners, enthusiasts and professionals.
The British Horse Society Approved Centre Scheme provides a quality assurance that an Equestrian Centre approved by the Scheme has the appropriate standards of care for both horses and riders with requisite qualified staff and facilities.
This is a new role supporting our growth strategy. The Approvals Scheme in the UK is integral to our Education and Professional qualifications and the International market represents a significant opportunity for growth in revenue, and presence overseas.
We aim to provide relevant, practical business support and promotion to Centres on our scheme. This role will involve working with BHS Approvals and Education (both in the UK and Overseas) to define, agree and implement detailed action plans targeted to meet the needs of all stakeholders.
Applicants must have proven business and commercial experience combined with considerable knowledge of the equestrian community and industry. BHS qualifications desirable, but not essential. Excellent interpersonal skills will enhance their ability to work across different cultures.
