Hall of Fame
We are committed to celebrating excellence in equestrianism. The British Horse Society Equestrian Hall of Fame celebrates the heroes and heroines – human and equine – of the equestrian world.
Each year we enrol a number of our most excellent riders and drivers, breeders, trainers and coaches into the Hall of Fame. Plaques to commemorate all laureates in the Hall of Fame are displayed on the wall of the Household Cavalry's barracks in South Carriage Drive, Knightsbridge, West London by kind permission of the Commanding Officer.
The first laureates in The British Horse Society Equestrian Hall of Fame were announced at the Royal International Horse Show on 31 July 2005.
If there is someone who, in your view, personifies excellence in the field of equestrian activity, send your nomination to us.
Nominations will be considered by a selection panel of well-known equestrian figures and Hall of Fame laureates. Unfortunately, due to the wide range of equestrian heroes that we have to consider, the racing sector is currently excluded.
To nominate an equestrian for the Hall of Fame, download and complete a nomination form and send it to: The British Horse Society Equestrian Hall of Fame, Abbey Park, Stareton, Kenilworth, Warwickshire, CV8 2XZ.
