Whatever your interest, we have opportunities to suit you at local and national levels
From campaigning for access to joining a British Riding Club, we can help you get the most out of your relationship with horses
We also offer trade and corporate opportunities, with dedicated membership packages as well as sponsorship and advertising in print, online and at events

Our members and volunteers mean we’re able to attend thousands of welfare cases each year, continue to campaign for rider’s rights, and raise awareness of diseases such as strangles - amongst the rest of the work we do.

Since the launch of the first British Horse Society fundraising riding challenge in 2000, hundreds of riders have taken part in an adventure overseas. These rides open the door for our intrepid challengers to travel the world in aid of British Horse Society welfare.

Where to train

BHS Approved Riding Establishments pride themselves on maintaining the highest possible standards. We regularly inspect each and every one to check they meet our requirements for safety, horse welfare and tuition, ensuring compliance and giving you peace of mind.

Our Where to Train establishments undergo an additional, training specific inspection to ensure that the training provided for career students meets the standard they have been approved to deliver. Find one to suit you.
