National Riding Schools Competition
We want as many riders as possible to experience the thrill of riding in a nationwide competition. If you would like the chance to compete in a variety of disciplines but don’t own a horse, then our National Riding School Competition is for you.
Riders of all ages are welcome to compete. The three age groups are:
- 13 years and under
- 17 years and under
- 18 years and over
The competition includes a dressage test, a showjumping course and an equine-related general knowledge or welfare question paper. Regional qualifiers are held at BHS Approved Centres throughout the UK and all riding school clients are welcome. The top three competitors in each age group will be invited to compete in the final.
Prizes, including training vouchers, rosettes and trophies, will be awarded to the winning competitors and instructors.
We are grateful to The Worshipful Company of Saddlers for their generous donation of vouchers to the winning establishments.
This competition is open to non-approved licenced riding schools.
Further sponsorship opportunities are available at a local and national level. If you’d like to hear more about becoming a sponsor and how this could benefit your business, please contact us.
