BHS NE Wales Committee are running a BHS First Aid for Horses Course over two evenings. Thursday 17 November and Thursday 24 November.
Presented by veterinary surgeon Emma Lloyd-Jones MRCVS. Would you know how to treat your horse in an emergency when out riding or if an accident had occurred in your field/stable? Come and find out what to do and what should be in your first aid kit.
The cost will be £20 for the two evenings with refreshments (tea/coffee) included in the price. BHS certificate on completion – please note attendance is required on both evenings.

Of interest to all those who need to complete their PTT Portfolio there will be a training and information session at Pennant Park Riding Centre Holywell CH8 9ER on Sunday 20 November from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Whether you are close to completing your PTT portfolio or are having trouble getting started, this session will help you. In a classroom based environment Margaret Linington-Payne BHSI who is a Chief Examiner and PTT Portfolio Assessor will go through your portfolio with you and help to fill in any gaps. This session will take you one step further to completing your portfolio and achieving your BHSAI if you hold the full BHS Stage 3 exam as well.
