Chartered Physiotherapy Training Expectations Principles and Practice

We are delighted to present an evening talk and demonstration with Naomi Smith Equine Physiotherapy Consultancy.

Naomi Smith graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and worked in the NHS and private practice in the UK and overseas in musculoskeletal physiotherapy prior to training to specialise in animals. She qualified as a Cat A member of ACPAT in 2003 having completed her specialist training in the UK with a number of well known and respected Physiotherapists, Including the Rio 2016 Olympic Equestrian team physiotherapist Rachel Greetham.

Naomi has a special interest in equines, particularly back pain. She works closely with two leading veterinary practices in the area, B&W Vets and Cotts Farm Equine Hospital with the respected veterinary orthopaedic surgeon Richard Coomer who pioneered keyhole surgery techniques for equine back pain in the UK.
