The Secret Life of a Mounted Policeman

26 Feb 2016

A talk by ex-Metropolitan Mounted Police ride leader Alan Hiscox. Alan, a former mounted police officer, will be visiting the island to tell his tales of years of professionalism, pride and pantomime at the Met. Alan served 32 years in the British Police, 26 of those in the mounted branch of the Metropolitan Police. He led the Metropolitan Mounted Police display ride for 14 years, performing at the likes of the Horse of the Year Show and Olympia many times. His team also supported The Spanish Riding School of Vienna on their UK tour. Feedback from his recent talks in Herefordshire and Derbyshire has been brilliant and, by all accounts, there are some hilarious stories from behind the scenes!
