The BHS PTT is suitable for those aged 18 years or over. To enter the exam you will need to have passed the complete BHS Stage Two.
The exam consists of two practical coaching sessions; one group (either flat or jump) and one individual (either lead rein or lunge), you will find out on the day which lessons you will teach.

There are five presentation topics, you will need to prepare all the presentations, but you will be required to present only one of the topics on the day.
When you book your exam you will receive a coaching portfolio. This will need to be completed before you achieve your BHS Assistant Instructor Certificate (BHSAI), but you do not need to complete this before your PTT exam.
The course will run every Monday at 11am - 1pm to cover theory and practical teaching. The course will run for eight weeks.
