Horse Listening: Desensitising the spooky horse and retraining the problem loader.

This workshop provides participants with practical tips, demonstrations and hands on experience.

Every Thursday in May, from 6:30-8:30pm. With Caroline Baldock, one of the first female professional jockeys and former literary adviser to Monty Roberts.

The sessions are £20 each, or £60 for all five. Place must be booked in advance - please contact Jo Rose, details listed on the right.

Jo Rose, BHS Intermediate Teacher / UKCC3, AMCST, has been running workshops and training courses in equine behaviour and alternative therapies for almost 10 years. Her aim is to bring like minded people together to develop their understanding of horses. Group sizes are kept small, and workshops are aimed at anyone interested in horses, maintaining a friendly and informal atmosphere, so participants feel comfortable to either come with friends or by themselves. Jo runs her courses from a comfortable classroom space on her farm near Chinnor, Oxon.

A proportion of course fees from BHS members will go to BHS Oxfordshire to help horses in need.
