This is a free workshop for horse and pony owners and people who manage livery yards, riding schools or their own smallholding.
This workshop will show how good paddock management not only benefits the health and wellbeing of horses and ponies but also benefits wildflowers and the wider landscape.
Speaker Frances Standed will cover topics such as grazing management, stocking levels, compaction, weed control and benefits of species rich grassland for equine health.
Speaker Donald MacIntyre, from Emorsgate Seeds, will be talking about how grazing influences wildflower composition.
The talks will be followed by a chance to visit horse grazed fields on site.
Lunch will be provided.
Cost : The event is free but a £30 deposit is required to book a place. This will be refunded on attendance.
