A great opportunity for BHS members to improve thier knowledge and confidence in dealing with an injured or unwell horse. This course will also be of benefit to those training for BHS Qualifications.
This is the first of a two part course (part two will be held on Thursday 22 September) and will cover:- prevention of injury or illness, vital signs - temperature, pulse and respiration, the first aid kit, when to call the vet, emergencies, contagious and infectious diseases and isolation procedures.
