If you go down to the woods….
On 4 December, BHS Scotland is joining forces with the Forestry Commission Scotland for a day of learning about each other’s access requirements.
The event will start at 10am in the Community Hall in Auchterarder where presentations will be delivered from both sides: riding in the forest and respecting forest management, as well as how to get the most from the national forest estate.
After lunch a bus will take delegates to a nearby woodland site.
This event is open to everyone who rides in the woods and also counts as training for BHS Scotland access volunteers .
Scottish AAG Chairman Ann Fraser said: “BHS Scotland has a tradition of working closely with the Forestry Commission Scotland and this day is designed to increase understanding, see things from the other side and forge even stronger relationships.
"This is also a good opportunity for us to work together to make woods and even better place to ride - we are hoping for a good turnout.”
This is a free event; if you wish to attend please register by email with firstname.lastname@example.org.
