Fourteenth Borders Festival of the Horse - from Competition to Cabaret
Join the BHS as we celebrate the place of the horse in Scotland’s Horse County.
This unique ten-day festival is taking place for the 14th time, and supported by the Forestry Commission Scotland, offers a feast of equestrian activity from competitions to cabaret, from tilting to treasure hunt.
Equestrian art, carriage driving, guided rides, vet features and alternative solutions will all feature along with activities for riders with their own mounts including guided rides and a treasure hunt. Spend time with a donkey or visit a stable open day, there is so much on offer - technical, educational and thrilling activities including tilting and vaulting!
Scottish Borders Tourist Board can arrange accommodation for horse and rider, or just for those wishing to come without a horse. Why not come for a day or stay for a week? Whichever you decide to do you will have the time of your life in Scotland’s Horse Country.
A copy of the Festival programme is available on the Borders Festival website.
