“Ask the BHS”

Wednesday, 30 October 2019
10am - 1pm

Aberdeen Riding Club, Nether Anguston Farm, Aberdeen AB14 0PN

An open session with:
Michele Carman Head of Education Operations, BHS
Helene Mauchlen National Manager for Scotland, BHS
Sally McCarthy Proprietor and Coach of BHS approved training and assessment centre

This open session is a great opportunity to find out more about the BHS career pathway, Challenge awards or Ride Safe awards - whether you are a rider who would like to participate or a coach who would like to deliver the courses, Michele will know the answer! Michele has a wealth of experience in Education and was instrumental in the development and delivery of the new career pathway qualifications.

Helene has worked for the BHS for twenty years and knows everything there is to know about horses in Scotland and providing for both them and their owners. Helene can answer questions on riding out in Scotland, differences in Scotland due to devolution and has a great all-round knowledge of the BHS and everything it works for and achieves.

Sally has been a centre proprietor for 15 years and has a good knowledge of the current economic and legislative pressures on riding schools and livery yards. She coaches all standards from beginner riders upwards and has a particular interest in making the sport accessible.

If you would like to attend, all we ask is that you email and let us know by emailing Ali at lessons@aberdeenridingclub.com so we have an idea of numbers.
