Evening Talk by ‘Racing Welfare’
Wednesday 28 March 2018 at 7:30pm
Marstons Inn, Highland Gate, Stirling, FK9 4UA
Lucy Ryan of Racing Welfare, will discuss her role as Welfare Officer, working across Scotland.
Racing Welfare is the only charity providing support to everyone employed in the horse racing and breeding industries. The horseracing industry in Scotland has been hugely progressive over the last few years. Lucinda Russells’ One For Arthur has been a real flag-bearer for Scottish racing in winning the 2017 Grand National but there are also a substantial number of trainers based in Scotland including Keith Dalgleish, Sandy Thompson and Iain Jardine to name just three. Behind-the-scenes at each of these Scottish training operations there is a team of dedicated stable staff who care for and exercise racehorses 365 days a year.
This is a free evening – spaces are limited.
