BHS Merseyside are pleased to bring you their annual series of winter talks, the first being this equine physiotherapy talk with Williams Vet Physio.
Williams Vet Physio is run by Jennifer Williams, an IRVAP registered veterinary physiotherapist. Jenny has under gone significant training in order to become qualified as a veterinary physiotherapist; achieving a first class honours degree in Equine Therapy and Rehabilitation from Bishop Burton College, she went on to publish academic research on Equine Hydrotherapy in the Journal of Thermal Biology, and then complete the Advanced Certificate in Veterinary Physiotherapy through Canine and Equine Physiotherapy Training (CEPT) which is accredited by The University of Middlesex.
Williams Vet Physio works alongside local veterinary practices to offer an extensive range of physiotherapy and rehabilitation services for horses and dogs across Yorkshire and the North West of England. With clients ranging from retired happy-hackers to top competition animals, Jenny is able to tailor the treatment to suit that individual.
Having been involved with horses and dogs all her life and as a keen county level showing competitor herself, Jenny appreciates exactly what it takes in order to get to the top of your game and can help you during this process whatever your discipline or ability.
This is a free event, so please do come along to find out more and support your local volunteer committee.
