Psychology behind Performance with Charlie Unwin

23 Nov 2016 10:00 - 16:00

BHS Cheshire Committee are pleased to bring you this one day workshop at BHS Approved New Barn Farm.

Charlie Unwin provides performance psychology support for the GB Teams and individual riders across all three of the main equestrian sports (Dressage, Show-Jumping and Eventing). Typically this involves working with riders and their support networks (coaches and support teams) to deal effectively with the specific and varied demands of equestrian sport and to optimise their performance environment. In a sport where the horse provides such a strong focal point, performance psychology plays an important role in helping the rider measure and improve their own performance.

The workshop is unmounted and suitable for competitive riders of all abilities. Focus on the psychology of performing at your best, and how to structure a consistent approach to competition that will help you to thrive under pressure.

You will leave the day feeling confident, motivated and with a clear plan. Group sizes are kept small which means the workshops can sell out very quickly - therefore please book your place early.

£85 per person. The workshop runs from 10am until 4pm.
