We are pleased to be welcoming back Sarah Simpson BHSI Chief Assessor, to carry out British Horse Society Stage 3, 4 and INT.T training to those wanting to or preparing to take the British Horse Society Stage exams or gain their BHSII. The day will consist of two hours of riding, one hour flatwork and one hours show jumping all on horses suitable for the level of training. The riding will be an opportunity to work on improving knowledge and feel for the horses correct way of going, time will be allocated during the session to have a discussion on different methods of training and ways to improve. At the end of the session each rider will leave with feedback, so that they can go home with a clear understanding of areas to improve.
The British Horse Society Stable Management will be a combination of both theory and practical, over a period of three hours. The theory units will cover a related subject such as feeding and fittening and will be picked at a suitable level to cover both exams. The practical section will cover specific areas relating to both the exam syllabus, for example tacking up, conformation and systems. Sarah’s training methods are fun and extremely informative. These days run to time and are well organised, so suitable for those wanting to learn.
All training with Sarah is provided as part of a group, not exceeding six people. The days are always full and booked up well in advanced. Due to this we require full payment on booking and a refund will only be given on successful filling of your space. We can at times accommodate requests for the stable management training, subject to it meeting the requirements of the other attendees.
More training is available on Monday 19 September.
Advanced bookings only can be made by contacting Phillippa on reception by calling 01606 892111. Please note, spaces are going very quickly for what will be a popular training series.
