If you're looking for a strong bond with a healthy, happy horse, the Challenge Awards are perfect for you. Join the team at Cheshire Riding School along with our BHS Education team to find out more about the Challenge Awards.

Time: 12pm to 5pm – Drop in anytime to find out more about the Challenge Awards.

  • 12pm – Arena Demonstration
  • 2pm – Accredited Coach training session (booking essential)

All sessions are free to attend but booking for the coach training is required, don’t miss out, book early!

We have developed a range of awards that provide you with the opportunity to develop your understanding of horse care and rider skills. Enhance your knowledge at your own pace and advance on what's important to you.

You can take part in the Challenge Awards with your own horse at your livery yard or riding club under the supervision of an Accredited Professional Coach, or at a BHS Approved Centre if you don’t own your own horse; with either option you will receive expert guidance and support.

Learn how to care for horses, develop hands-on, practical skills and get stuck in with the day-to-day tasks. You can even improve your riding skills too.

Whether you own or loan a horse, or if you ride for pleasure at a BHS Approved Riding Centre, we welcome you to an equestrian community which will encourage and motivate you to achieve your personal goals.

The BHS On the Move lorry will be there with BHS staff to welcome you with tea and biscuits. Come and find out more about the Challenge Awards and how they can help you to fulfil your passion for horses. Love and enthusiasm is all that’s required. Its FREE and you can drop by any time between 12pm and  5pm to chat to us.

If you are a BHS coach or work at a BHS approved centre come along and find out how this brand new offer can support and develop you and your business.
We are also hosting a Challenge Awards induction training session 2pm-3pm.

This one-hour session will tell you all you need to know to begin to deliver the Challenge Awards; and is compulsory if you want to become a Challenge Awards Centre or Challenge Awards Trainer. There will also be a practical demonstration in the arena at 12pm showcasing some of the awards so don’t miss it!

Spaces for the induction training session (2pm-3pm) are free but limited, so please book to confirm your space

No booking required if you wish to pop by find out more and watch the practical demonstration.
