The British Horse Society and GMP Rider and Road Safety Event

Rider and Road Safety Event at Naylors Equestrain, Rochdale store.

Time: 10am - 3pm.

The event will include:

  • Safety Advice From Greater Manchester Police
  • There will be real police officers at the event answering questions and giving advice on road safety and how to go about report an incident.
  • Keep Your Belongings Safe With Tack and Bike Marking

Officers will be offering tack marking. This is to help keep your tack recognisable if stolen. They will also be marking bikes, so this is not just an equestrian event, everyone is welcome!

The British Horse Society will be offering advice and answering Questions:

 The BHS will be offering road safety advice and information about their Ride Safe Award which covers how to ride safely on the road and Hi-Vi's recommendations.

Barrister Ellen Shaw who specialises in equine cases:

We'll be joined by Ellen Shaw, a local barrister who works in Serious Crime and Regulatory Law but who is recognised for her expertise in driving offences. She will be offering advice on how to protect yourselves while out riding on the roads.
