Do you live in or around London and are you keen to meet other horsey people? Interested in attending horse-related events? A fan of drinks and nibbles?
If this sounds like you, come join us at the Punch Tavern on Fleet Street on October 18 for a special BHS event that is free and open to all!
The London Committee are very excited to announce our guest speaker Andreas Liefooghe, who is doing fantastic work at Operation Centaur, an organisation that aims to make working horses relevant to contemporary urban societies. They achieve this through conservation and heritage projects, community engagement and equine-assisted psychotherapy programmes.
Dr Andreas Liefooghe MSc PhD CPScyhol MBACP FCIPD is the Founder of Operation Centaur and will be talking about their various conservation projects in The Royal Parks and Historic Royal Palaces, as well as therapeutic programmes such as Centaur Inside, a rehabilitation intervention delivered in prison, and Real Horse Power, an anti-bullying intervention for schools, all the while focusing on the human-horse relationship.
The talk will be around 40 minutes with time for questions afterwards. Admission is free and there will be food available (drinks not included). You don't have to be a BHS member to attend, so feel free to come along and see what it's like!
The evening is free to all, but you will need to book your place to make sure we have enough nibbles for everyone - please email firstname.lastname@example.org to book your place.
Come along and bring your friends!
