CPD Day Teaching Grassroots XC with Caroline Moore FBHS

This training day will be of benefit to all those teaching/coaching within the equestrian industry and is a Continual Professional Development Day for the BHS Register of Instructors. 

A highly informative development day including:

  • Introducing the rider to XC
  • Getting ready to compete
  • Introducing a horse to XC and the next step

This day is ideal for the coach wishing to broaden their knowledge and develop their coaching skills to the next level or to refresh before an exam.

Discussion and interaction will be encouraged throughout the day.

The day counts as a Continual Professional Development day for BHS Registered Instructors.

Caroline has produced and ridden horses up to 4* level, competing at Badminton, Burghley, Bramham and Blenheim, as well as overseas. In 2007 she took part in the Olympic test event in Hong Kong on Don Giovanni.

Caroline, who is the British Eventing National u18 Coach, now focuses mainly on coaching riders and other coaches to improve their skills, with the main aim to develop confidence and belief by building correct foundations. A Fellow of the BHS and a BE Accredited Coach, Caroline offers individual and group sessions at different venues nationwide but with her main base being Vale View Equestrian Centre in Leicestershire. Individual support is also offered throughout the event season including course walking, competition planning, fitness advice, etc.
