A modern approach to riding safely in all environments, Ride Safe is the foundation for any horse and rider to be safe and knowledgeable when riding out in all environments; including on the road and warming up at competitions and is the first step on the BHS Equine Excellence Pathway.
Ride Safe provides a comprehensive understanding with practical examples, tips and guidance; ideal for all riders from occasional recreational riders to elite equestrians.
Ride Safe works to keep you and your horse safe and could even save your lives. Assessment Fee to be paid directly to the BHS as soon as possible before the Ride Safe course to receive your Ride Safe training log book in time for the training.
Dates and Times:
- Sunday 25th February 10.30am – 3.30pm (Theory Day)
- Thursday 1st March 6.30pm – 8.30pm (Practical Riding)
Cost of training: - £60 per person. Horse Hire if required: - £15 for Practical Riding on 01 March.
Laurel View Assessment Date: Wednesday 07 March from 1.45pm – 5pm (Assessment).
Training spaces will be allocated to Laurel View assessment candidates first, then the remainder on a first come first served basis. A recent edition or download of the Highway Code is essential reading.
