This event in aid of Access Week will look at historic research. The evening will start with a brief introduction on the 2026 deadline and on standardised recording methods, before we get started on map comparison work, looking to quickly identify routes worthy of further investigation across Norfolk.
Anyone wishing to attend will need to bring a wifi enabled laptop and an orange OS explorer map of their area, some maps will be available on the night.
Attendees will be working with a range of online map resources and using a standardised spreadsheet recording system to highlight routes. The evening will culminate with the allocation of further research to anyone who would like to take some of the routes forward.
The hall accommodates about 30 people, so book your place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
The session will run from 7.15pm until 9.45pm.
Refreshments will be provided (donations appreciated).
