Pain in horses - How much does it hurt? Assessment and Treatment of Pain.

Please Note: The lectures count as CPD provided you attend a minimum of three. 

The Royal Veterinary College Equine team, in conjunction with The British Horse Society Hertfordshire, have organised a series of popular talks for all horse riders and owners.

Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. Tickets must be purchased in advance and before midday on the day. Please note we cannot accept payment at the door. 

Kata Veres-Nyeki, Lecturer in Anaesthesia and Analgesia, will explain how pain in horses can be assessed through their behaviour and give practical advice on how owners can detect whether their horse is in pain.

Time: Refreshments & Registrations from 7pm. Lectures start at 7.30pm and expected to finish by 9.30pm

Cost: £10 pp.
