The Importance of Fibre Lecture Evening

Writtle University College Equine Society Students are presenting a lecture evening with the theme 'The Importance of Fibre'. This will include talks on various topics by Writtle lecturers and by guest speakers House and Jackson Vet Erik Belloy and Dengie Nutritionist Tracey Hammond.

Topics to include:

  • Feeding Fibre to All Horses
  • Feeding the Performance Horse
  • Spotlight on EGUS
  • Feeding Related Behaviours
  • Dentistry

There will be an 'ask the panel' session at the end of the talks for any questions or queries to be answered.

Time: starts at 7pm - 9pm. Doors open from 6.45pm.

Refreshments will be available.

Open to staff, students and the public.

Cost:

  • Equine Society members: FREE
  • WUC Students: £2
  • Public: £5

Payment will be taken on the door.

All staff and students will require to present their ID cards. 

All proceeds will go to the charity Barrow Farm, Riding for the Disabled.
