BHS Nottinghamshire presents:
'An equine welfare talk' with Tony Tyler BHSI, Deputy Chief Exec. of World Horse Welfare
At Nottingham Trent University, Bramley Building (Main building next to main road, NOT the equestrian centre)
Tony will talk about a day in his life but most importantly bring us up to date with the current equine welfare issues charities are facing.
Tony Tyler BHSI, Deputy Chief Executive and Director of our UK operations, has spent the last 35 years involved in the horse industry with extensive experience training horses and riders.
Tony has worked in riding schools, as a freelance trainer, BHS Chief Examiner, senior college lecturer and he has worked for World Horse Welfare since 1999. Starting in the charity as the Norfolk Centre Manager and being promoted twice he oversees the work of the charity in the UK including the work of the Centres and Field Officers, educational initiatives and liasing with other charities and organisations.
Tea and coffee will be available.
Cost: £5 per person if booked in advance / £8.00 on the night (Open to all not just BHS Members)
