The first of our Annual Members’ Meetings, together with the Election Board Meeting, is being held on Tuesday, 16 July at BHS Headquarters.
We are delighted that Professor Derek Knottenbelt, Professor of Equine Medicine at the University of Liverpool and one of the world’s leading specialists in equine internal medicine, has agreed to be our guest speaker.
Professor Knottenbelt has been internationally recognised for his work on sarcoids, ragwort poisoning and headshaking, and received an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in 2005 for his services to equine medicine. More information about him and a list of his full published works is available on the Liverpool University website.
Members are invited to attend the meeting, which will be an opportunity for you to ask your own questions. Coffee will be served from 10:30am and the meeting will begin at 11am. We will then provide a light lunch followed by Professor Knottenbelt's speech at 1:30pm. Members will be free to leave by 3-3:30pm.
If you would like to attend, please email Jeanette Poile by 21 June 2013 at email@example.com.
