The SsangYong Blenheim Palace Horse Trials

Thursday 13 - Sunday 16 September 2018

Blenheim Palace

As the wonderful summer of equestrian competition continues you can catch up with your Society at a number of events including The SsangYong Blenheim Palace Horse Trials. Set in the magnificent grounds of Blenheim Palace, this world-class international equestrian event is a fantastic day out for family and friends.

Successful sporting events are constantly innovating to ensure they provide a fresh offering to participants and spectators and the SsangYong Blenheim Palace Horse Trials is no exception. With so much to do in addition to the showcase eventing classes, such as complimentary displays and demonstrations, competitions for grassroots riders, a fun ride and of course a plethora of shops, food outlets, bars and entertainments there is definitely something for everyone to enjoy.

This year they have introduced a new timetable to accommodate more international entries in both the CCI3* and the CIC3*, and to allow the CCI3* cross-country to start later – at 11am. Both horse inspections (12 and 16 September) will also take place in front of the spectacular backdrop of Blenheim Palace

In addition they have introduced a number of new classes including a Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) dressage championship which will take place on 13th September and an under 21 combined training, held at CCI2* level. They have also introduced a Sports Horse Breeding (GB) ridden stallion parade and RoR parade.

They’ve also helpfully a screening of the World Equestrian Games cross-country on 15 September. This will also include supper and a party enabling you to keep up to date on all the action.
