BRC Grassroots Points League Show Jumping Results (Final Results 2020)
**Updates to the Grassroots Points League for 2021**
- All show jumping classes up to and including 70cm will be included (originally restricted to 50cm and 60cm).
- Lead-rein competitors may take part in all of the Grassroots Points Leagues.
- Re-formatted points card so competitors will be able to email the document rather than send by post. The secretary/organisers will no longer be required to sign the form and instead a screen shot, picture or link to the results will be required instead.
The Grassroots Points Leagues are open to all BRC members and run from 1 January - 30 October. Points can be gained at any affiliated BRC club competition (excluding area qualifiers and national level competitions). There are four leagues, these are:
All classes at Intro and Prelim level.
All heights up to and including 70cm.
A combination of any of the pure Dressage and Show Jumping levels above.
All heights up to and including 70cm. This can include Arena Eventing, Hunter Trials and One Day Events.
Please note that each league will have it's own set of results.
How to Enter
To enter, you will need to download the relevant score card:

You will need to fill in your scorecard with where you were placed at the competition and attach either a photo, copy of or link to the results. This can be sent either via email to email@example.com or via post to BRC Competitions, The British Horse Society, Abbey Park, Stareton, Kenilworth, Warwickshire, CV8 2XZ. The scorecard and relevant results will need to be sent in no later than the 7th of the following month to allow staff time to process them. Please note, post must be in the office by the 7th, not posted on the 7th.

Points will be awarded for the following places:
1st place = 6 points
2nd place = 5 points
3rd place = 4 points
4th place = 3 points
5th place = 2 points
6th place = 1 point
Only competitions run between 1 January and 30 October will count towards the leagues.
Competitors may compete in as many sections as they wish on as many horses as they wish, there is no limit.
Scores will be updated per horse and rider combination.
It is the competitors responsibility to correctly fill in the points card and return it with the full results. Failure to provide the results will mean the points do not count.
It is the competitors responsibility to ensure the scorecard is with BRC HQ by the 7th of each month. Scorecards received after this time will not count.
BRC area qualifiers and national competitions may not be used to gain points for this league.
Competitors may compete across areas and clubs to gain points.
Rosettes will be awarded 1st - 10th in each league. Prizes will be awarded in kind to 1st place in each league.
