We are delighted to announce that SEIB Insurance Brokers will be sponsoring the 2019 BRC Novice Winter Championships. We are really excited about this partnership and look forward to working alongside SEIB.

The dressage and show jumping competitions are open to both teams and individuals. Both disciplines hold classes for juniors and seniors separately.

In the dressage, two members of the team must ride a prelim test and two members must ride a novice test, individuals will compete in separate arenas. In the show jumping, both the seniors and juniors compete (on their relevant days) in two rounds - the second course may be higher. For further information on heights, course requirements and eligibility, please consult the BRC Handbook.

New for 2019! We are introducing a few Direct Entry classes to the championships this year. Direct Entry classes to not require prior qualification - just fill in the form and return it to us with payment and providing the class isn't already full, this will be your entry complete. Eligibility criteria can be found in the 2019 Handbook. The classes are as follows:

Provisionally planned to take place on Saturday 30 March

Reserve declaration forms can be found here. Please fill in and declare 60minutes before the start of the class, or alternatively, send the form into the office. 

Stabling

Stabling is available via the online booking system and closes 21 days before the start of the competition. Once you have created an account, it can be used to book stables for future championships.

Hat tagging

All members are required to have their hats tagged before competing in any BRC qualifier or championship. For acceptable specifications, check the up to date Hat standard guidelines.
