Your Pathway to HOYS
With the changes to the format of the Festival of the Horse which will no longer feature showing classes BHS/BRC are keen to offer members opportunities to take part in the world of showing and have teamed up with The Showing Register (TSR) to enable this.
TSR are providing a unique opportunity for BHS/BRC members to take part in the TSR/HOYS Showing Master Class which is held at the Horse of the Year Show in October. In 2015 the Showing Master Class will be taken by Michael Eilberg who will assist riders to use dressage training techniques to enhance their way of going for the show ring. This is an amazing opportunity to train with one of the best dressage riders in the country at HOYS!
What is the TSR Training Pathway and Master Class? TSR are looking for enthusiastic amateur riders who would like to improve their riding and showing skills. Riders are talent spotted from training clinics and could be chosen for the training pathway with selected riders going forward to the Showing Master Class at HOYS. The whole process is training based and helps riders to improve their riding skills.
How does it work?
- Attend a TSR Clinic for your chance to be talent spotted. BHS/BRC members receive a discounted place
- If you are spotted you will be sent an application form
- All applications will be reviewed and approximately 30 riders will be chosen for the TSR Training Pathway
- Pathway Riders will be mentored by a showing expert and given lots of help and advice
- The final selection will take place at the TSR Gala Show in July at Onley EC, Rugby.
Riders will be selected for the TSR/HOYS Showing Master Class, and will include a BHS/BRC member.
