BRC are pleased to announce that leading horse and rider wear brand Equi-Thème will be the new sponsor of the 2017 British Riding Clubs Intermediate Winter Championships. Following a host of qualifiers scheduled throughout the winter months, the Equi-Thème British Riding Clubs Intermediate Winter Championships will take place at Bury Farm Equestrian Village, Bedfordshire 28-30 April 2017. Please note that in 2017, some dressage will take place on Friday afternoon then refer them to the schedule.
The qualifiers get underway in October, and the championships will feature both dressage and show jumping competitions for junior and senior members. The dressage sections include both team and individual classes at prelim to advanced medium levels, while the show jumping includes a team competition with the first round starting at 95cm.

The dressage classes will be open to riders in all the BD groups. Appendix 2 of the 2016 BRC Handbook covers eligibility of horses competing in dressage tests and intermediate show jumping classes.

Prelim entries can be made after 1 September 2016. To enter, please visit the BHS online bookshop or download the prelim and area entry forms from the BRC downloads page on the BRC website.
Hat tagging: all members are now required to have their hats tagged before competing in any BRC qualifier or championship. For acceptable specifications, check the Hat Standards Guidelines.
Stabling is available via the online booking system and closes 21 days before the start of the competition. Once you have created an account, it can be used to book stables for future championships.
