The British Horse Society is the nation’s largest equine charity with a passion for horses that is backed by knowledge and expertise. The BHS represents and provides a range of services for horse riders, horse owners, enthusiasts and professionals.
The Approvals Co-ordinator is a member of the Approvals team and is required to assist the department with the delivery of the BHS Approved Centre scheme. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the recording processes relating to the Approval Scheme as well as responding to enquiries ranging from requests for information about our Approved Centre scheme and enquiries from Centre Proprietors, offering advice and support as appropriate.
The successful candidate for this role will have excellent administrative, planning and organisational skills and be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of the Microsoft package, specifically Outlook, Excel and Word. Effective time management combined with proven successful experience in all forms of communication are also essential skills that will be pivotal in supporting Approved Centres and the Inspection team.
Equestrian experience and knowledge of the BHS Approved Centre scheme is a strong requirement in this role.
