The importance of good bit and saddle fit

Please come and join us for an educational talk with bitting consultant Lizzie Pollard and saddle fitter Nicola Purdy.  Lizzie is passionate about helping riders to improve their understanding when making bitting choices in order to achieve the best for their horses.  She is a BHS coach and combines her coaching skills with her knowledge of the many modern bitting options to help achieve a better connection and improve performance.  Nicola holds her BHS Level 3 coach qualification, UKCC2, Stage 4 care and is registered with the Society of master saddlers.  She has ten years experience fitting saddles and over thirty years experience coaching.

Lizzie will work with a couple of horses to explore the best bitting options to suit their individual needs whilst Nicola will explain some of the checks you can make at home, between routine visits from a saddle fitter, to ensure your horse's comfort and wellbeing.

This event is suitable for anyone who loves their horse and would like to further improve their understanding of the importance of correctly fitting and appropriate equipment.  It would also be beneficial for anyone currently training towards the BHS Stages 1, 2 or 3.
