This training day is for anyone looking to improve their jump training knowledge, learn what training to put in place at home to help get that perfect clear round or get an insight into how professional jumping courses are designed and how to break down the elements for improvement.
Mark McGowan is an FEI Level 3 international course designer and Level 5 Advanced Course Designer who has designed courses all over the world including several European Championships.
Mark will help everyone understand the mind of the course builder with the position of jumps in the arena, lines, distances, and technicalities and how to break these down. Everyone will have the chance to build fences, walk the course and discuss the distances, lines, approach etc.
**BHS Coaches and British Showjumping Coaches will receive a full 6 CPD Points on the completion of this course**
The course will aim to:
- Help to understand what the course builder is thinking about with the position of the jumps, lines distances and technicalities.
- Walking distances, lines to fences both in training and around courses.
- Develop knowledge and depth of understanding around the technicalities of jumping individual jumps and courses depending on the horse/rider’s level of experience.
