Come along and give Polocrosse a go!
Polocrosse is a team sport that is a combination of polo and lacrosse. Each rider uses a cane or fibreglass stick to which is attached a racquet head with a loose, thread net, in which the ball is carried. The ball is made of sponge rubber and is approximately four inches across. The objective is to score goals by throwing the ball between the opposing team's goal posts.
Izzy Baker-Creswell is an Polocrosse UKCC Coach, who will first guide you through the basics of using the equipment before you move onto your horse/pony to try the real thing!
No previous Polocrosse experience is necessary but you must be able to walk, trot and canter.
The group session comprises of approximately 30 mins on foot and then approximately 45 mins on your horse/pony.
£30 per person includes use of the racquets and balls, as well as light refreshments of tea, coffee, juice and cake.
