This webinar is essential for anyone who looks after horses. Colic is the most common emergency in horses in the UK and can strike at any time. This evening we will learn how to take measures to prevent a colic, learn to recognise the signs of colic and be prepared should you have to deal with one.

The webinar will be recorded so if you can't join us on the night, have any problems connecting or want to watch it again you will be sent a link to the recording as soon as it's available.

Dr Caterina Termine BSc(Hons) BVSc CertAVP MRCVS, FEI Senior Veterinary Advisor

Caterina joined the FEI in 2014 and is involved with a wide range of veterinary technical matters, including the Clean Sport programme, education, developing the Veterinary Regulations.

Prior to her current role, Caterina worked in equine practice and in equine biosecurity and infectious diseases research at the Animal Health Trust in the United Kingdom. She was also veterinary advisor for the Riding for the Disabled Association (UK), an FEI Veterinary Delegate in the disciplines of Jumping and Eventing and a Testing Veterinarian for British Equestrian. Caterina was previously a member of Staffordshire’s BHS County Committee where she held the role of welfare officer.
