BHS Stage 1 & 2 Training Day

his day is designed to help anyone who is interested in training towards BHS Stage 1 or 2.  You may have already started your BHS career pathway or you may be keen to find out more.  The day will consist of both practical and theory sessions to help you prepare or just give you a better understanding of the requirements of the stable management sections at your chosen level. 

Your coaches for the day will be Tessa Martin-Bird FBHS and Donald Kear BHSI and BHS assessor.  Tessa and Donald are experts in their field and have enormous depth of experience in training and preparation for assessments.  There will be opportunities for you to demonstrate and improve your practical application as well as your knowledge.  You will be working in a small group of no more than eight.  The day will be friendly and informal, you won't be put on the spot if you don't want to be!  A brilliant opportunity to ask questions and gain in confidence.

Please ensure you wear appropriate clothing and yard boots.  Please also bring your hat and gloves.  Refreshments will be provided, but please bring you own lunch.
