Booking and Information

21-23 June and 13-15 September at Boomerang Stables, Berkshire

with lead coach Charlie Samuel-Camps, BHS Senior Eventing Coach (Stage 4).

You'll participate in flat, SJ and XC lessons (with polework for non-jumpers) and test riding practice across the three days. Our lead coach is Charlie Samuel-Camps, a BHS Senior Eventing Coach (Stage 4), and, depending on numbers, we will bring in another highly experienced coach to work alongside. Our coaches are always awesome at working with riders and horses of all levels of experience, and are fantastic at building confidence.

We'll also have extras such as welcome drinks and games on the Friday evening and Pilates, a weighbridge or a talk on the Saturday evenings. There are goody bags on arrival for horse and rider!

Boomerang has fantastic facilities - the Wallaby arena which we use for flatwork; the beautifully landscaped, huge Wombat arena with a full set of Jump4Joy showjumps; the renowned XC schooling field, with two waters, ditches, banks, and fences from 40cm to Advanced, it's used by lots of the top pro's!

You are welcome to hack around the schooling field at any time (body protectors must be worn, and you must not jump without a coach present). There is also the option to purchase (at an extra cost of £10) a weekend hacking permit for the adjacent farm's off-road hacking, which will enable you to explore in free time or just go for a cool-down leg-stretch.

You can stay on-site in your horsebox/tent/car/under the stars...! There are toilets and showers on site. If you prefer, you can head to a local B&B.

Horses are stabled (pellet bedding is provided), with a hand-grazing area available. All horse care is DIY! Stables are disinfected and fresh bedding added after each resident. A deposit will be taken on arrival, and returned on departure providing your stable is left clean.

Hay can be purchased on site, at a cost of £6.50 per bale.

Evening meals are included in the cost, with hearty dinners and puddings cooked by a local caterer. Vegetarian/vegan options will be available, and allergies/dietary requirements can be catered for. Tea, coffee and plentiful cake are provided throughout the weekend. The Shack provides our base for dining and chilling out, and has indoor and outdoor seating, plus a log burner for the cooler evenings. It will also have WiFi for 2024!

Breakfast and lunch are self-catering - there is a full kitchen with ample fridge and freezer space, gas oven and hobs, toaster, microwave and kettle. There's also a large gas BBQ.

Katie Lupton from KatiiesKaptures ( and will be on hand at camp to take photos of everyone - these will be available to purchase direct from Katie after camp. There is also the possibility of booking a portrait shoot with your horse too (weather dependant!) - please contact Katie directly on if you'd like to find out more about this.

Each camp costs £315 per horse and rider - this is reduced to £300 if you pay your deposit on or before 31/12/2023. Deposit is payable on booking (you'll be sent a link to online payment when your booking form is received - please note your place is not confirmed until your deposit payment has been received). Deposit is £100 on or before 31/12/2023 and goes up to £115 on 01/01/2024. The balance of £200 is payable 6 weeks before the start of your camp (10/05/2024 or 2/08/2024 respectively).

Additional non-riding campers (moral support crew!) are welcome to stay with you at a cost of £50, which covers the venue fee,  evening meals and refreshments. Non-riders must be at least 14 years of age.

Camp deposits are non-refundable, but in the event of horse or rider injury/sickness we will transfer them to a future date for you on receipt of a vet/doctor note. Balance payments are non-refundable and non-transferable unless your space can be refilled.

Transfers/refunds are at the discretion of the organiser - we know horses and feel your pain when things go wrong, so will do everything we can to be generous but we are a charity and have to cover the event costs.

Campers can be of any standard, providing they are at least able to walk, trot and canter their horse or pony safely in an arena and in company. It is absolutely fine to be nervous though!

Riders must be at least 14 years of age. Under 18s must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian of at least 18.
