This day will count as 6 points CPD for BHS coaches but is open to anyone with an interest in the subject.
It will cover:
- Tack and equipment for each discipline
- The working in process for each discipline and the requirements of each at each level
- Course walking and riding for the showjumping, observation of riders strengths and areas for development and the same for XC
- Discussions around start box, effects of going, dark to light, lines of approach / departure, related fences, uphill downhill approaches, water
- Care of horse; in transit, on the day between disciplines, after XC.
- Choice of horse, producing youngsters
- Coaching riders at various levels
Please note the £30 event price does NOT include entry costs for the day, this must be purchased separately through Frickley and is priced at £12 per vehicle - so car sharing is advised where possible to reduce cost. Please visit Frickley's website to purchase entry tickets.
