About West Pennine Bridleways Association (WPBA)
West Pennine Bridleways Association (WPBA) work across Oldham and Saddleworth. The group hold regular meetings for their members, discussing bridleways within the area that may need upkeep/ repair.
The group are working to keep bridleways that are no longer on local maps, and to get them documented once again. West Pennine Bridleways Association attend the public rights of way meetings with the local council to assist with the maintenance of bridleways in the area.
They group arrange ride out sessions and riding events at the local arena. They have also held equine educational evenings, with local vets and equine services giving their time to help.
