2016 Ride out UK Photo Competition

Ride Out UK Week is dedicated to the UK’s equestrian routes; celebrating the triumphs of paths being restored or saved, raising awareness of off-road riding, gettingHorse in rapeseed more riders to enjoy and to applaud the fantastic efforts of the BHS’s UK-wide volunteer team, local authorities and other partners who work to protect, restore and repair all of these networks so that we can enjoy them for many years to come.

This is a fantastic event to get involved with, and we want to see your photos of you “exploring your scenic route”. Please ensure you, your horse and any friendsShortlisted entry for August photo competition that you’re with are safe and wearing the appropriate attire for riding and carriage-driving off road (including Hi-Viz). Please ensure your photographs are of high enough resolution for us to reproduce in publications, although good quality smart phone photographs are accepted.

Email your photos to eleanor.hashim@bhs.org.uk with your name, where the photo was taken and your affiation with the BHS (if any).

You can also upload your photos onto social media #Rideoutuk – show other riders where you love to explore! 

Photo Competition T&Cs

  1. The competition period will run from 2 May – 5 June, 11pm
  2. Enter in by emailing your digital photo to Eleanor.hashim@bhs.org.uk
  3. Photos uploaded online only will not be counted
  4. Entry is open anyone. If aged under 18 you must have parental permission
  5. The winner will be picked by the Access Department at BHS HQ and will be notified w/c 20 June
  6. When sending in photos please include your full name, address, email, your involvement with the BHS, if any
  7. Please gain email consent from any people in the photograph for their images to be used by us, and parental consent from any under 18 year olds
  8. By entering in to the compeition you are giving consent for the photos to be used in BHS promotional materials
  9. The competition is administrated by The British Horse Society, Abbey Park, Stareton, Kenilworth, Warwickshire CV8 2XZ
  10. Saddle cloth and gilet are being given away as prizes and are currently not available for sale at The British Horse Society merchandise shop
