Making Additional Changes to a BHS Passport

Change to Equine Details

Horse passports should be issued before the horses reaches full maturity, it can result in the colour details becoming incorrect over time. In these circumstances, if you have a BHS passport request a letter from your vet confirming any changes and submit to us with your passport. We will then be able to update our database as well as adding additional details to the passport. For any passports issued after 1 January 2016 this will be in Section I Part C. Any updates to a passport must be endorsed and dated with our official stamp.

For any passports issued after 1 January 2016, your vet can note the date and place of castration (if applicable) but please be aware that any other changes beside this, that are not made by the BHS will invalidate your passport.

Please wait while we complete your membership
